Definitieve programma in Tessy-sur-Vire

De indeling voor de gastgezinnen in Tessy-sur-Vire en omgeving is klaar!

Alle Prinsentuin van Cooth leerlingen zijn ondergebracht. Het had nog best wat voeten in aarde, want alle Franse leerlingen wilden een leerling van onze school in huis hebben, maar er zijn nu eenmaal meer Franse leerlingen dan Nederlandse, dus dat ging niet lukken. We hoorden dat het tot wat teleurstelling voor de Franse leerlingen had geleid, maar dat gaat komende week helemaal goedkomen!


Ook heeft juf Vuillemin een volledig uitgewerkt weekprogramma gestuurd. Leuk voor de thuisblijvers om per dag te kunnen volgen waar wij allemaal uithangen!

We zullen er voor zorgen dat we per dag een verslag plaatsen op het blog, zodat jullie lievelingen weer op allerlei foto's te bewonderen zijn.
Het is voor de leerlingen ook leuk als ouders een bericht op het blog plaatsen, nieuws van het thuisfront is altijd leuk om te krijgen!

GUEST PROGRAM FOR THE WEEK (from 7-4-2013 to 13-4-2013)
 
Sunday, April, 7 th
Morning = departure from Breda.

Afternoon= Arrival at Raymond Queneau school around 4 p.m.

Meeting with the French families at school. Drinks and snacks. Short tour by our

students, Departure to the French families.
 
 
Monday, April, 8 th
Morning = Departure from school at 8.30 to the Mont-Saint-Michel.


Visit of the abbey at the top of the Mount at 11 a.m

Picnic and shopping inside the closed town.

Afternoon = 1 p.m – departure to Britanny
Visit of the walled city of Saint Malo + shopping.


16.30 p.m – departure to Tessy. Back to school for 18-18.30. Return in the host

families.
 
 
Tuesday, April, 9 th
Morning = Departure from school at 8.30 to Caen

Visit of the Town Hall, the Men's abbey and St Etienne's church at 10 a.m in English

picnic and visit of the botanical garden.

Afternoon= Visit of the Caen Castle


Free time and shopping in town.

Back to school for 16.45. Return in the host families.
 
 
Wednesday, April 10 th
Morning= Departure from school at 8.30 to Pirou.
Visit of the Pirou Castle at 10 a.m.


Departure to Granville.
Afternoon = Visit of Granville city + picnic in the harbour.

Excursion to the cider farm « l'Hermitière » at 15.30


Back to school for 18.00. Return in the host families.
 
 
Thursday, April, 11 th
Morning= Departure from school at 8.30 to Colleville.
Visit of the famous American cemetery in Colleville Sur Mer.

Walk on Omaha Beach, one of the D-DAY beaches.


Picnic in Colleville or Arromanches
Afternoon = Visit of the seaside resort Arromanches and the famous war museum at 14.45.


Back to school for 17. Return in the host families
 
 
Friday, April, 12 th
Morning = Treasure hunt in the forest with the 3A and 3B pupils. Lunch at school.


Afternoon= At school with the French pupils. The Globe presentation + sport activities

Return in the host families
Evening= Party Time at Queneau school for pupils and families – Dutch/Greek/French meal made


by a professional caterer, helped by some French pupils. Disco time.
 
 
Saturday, April, 13 th
Back to Breda – Departure in the morning from Queneau school
